Explore your hidden sponsorship assets and meet potential sponsors at Think!Sponsorship.

IMR is a partner of the Think!Sponsorship conference, back for its 13th event on the 15th April 2010 at Sadler’s Wells Theatre, London.

'Exploring the hidden sponsorship assets in your toolkit' is the main theme of the conference. This is in response to research showing that sponsor investment is moving away from the traditional mainstays of sponsorship – hospitality and brand awareness – into more sophisticated and integrated engagement opportunities. Those findings strike a chord with research undertaken by IMR in which many brand owners stated that their sponsorship activation programmes have changed dramatically.

The Think! conference will therefore be concentrating on such issues as corporate social responsibility, educative projects, grassroots initiatives, digitalisation, social media and employee engagement. These have all been cited as key touch points for sponsoring brands in the current climate.

Think! has assembled an impressive line up of speakers for the event, they include:

  • Mark Osikoya, Head of Sponsorship, Coca-Cola
  • Mike Sullivan, Sponsorship Manager, Sainsbury’s
  • Belinda Stevenson, Sponsorship Manager, Vodafone
  • Dominic Warne, Sponsorship Manager - retail, RBS
  • Elin Horgan, Head of Corporate Partnerships, National Trust
  • Becky Morgan, Chief Operating Officer, All the Worlds (JV with Universal Music)
  • Katie Bosdet, Head of Brand Experience, British Gas
  • Katie Brazier, Commercial Director, British Swimming
  • Mike Thompson, Global Head of Sponsorship, e.on
  • Guy Beresiner, Head of Commercial Development, Yahoo
  • Sarah Williams, Brand Engagement, Deloitte

  • Toby Hester, Sponsorship Manager, Castrol/BP
  • Claire Atkinson, Community Affairs Manager, BUPA
  • Colin Miles, Managing Director, Intosport

Aside from a dynamic programme that helps attendees understand how to structure, market, secure and manage their sponsorship opportunities, the event provides structured networking opportunities throughout the day. The conferences are interactive, buzzing environments in which business gets done – can you afford to miss out?
